Life, a System of Opposites

We are objects in nature. An object is a dependent entity. Independence is an alien quality. Visible and invisible realms are objects. Objects exist for the pleasure of the possessor. Who possesses vastness as an object?

We possess objects in our lives. Do they not exist for our pleasure? Houses, cars, pets, computers, phones, television, jewelry, clothes, et cetera enhance our life. Our friends and family are objects too. We do not physically hold them, but they are objects of the mind. Emotions and feelings are objects too. We depend on objects, and they depend on us. Our dependence on accessories aids us. Accessories, too, derive benefits from the possessor to negate perceived value. Net is zero. A system of opposites.

Accessories deriving benefits, at first thought, appear to be far fetched imagination. Inexpressive, and lifeless, but they derive benefits too. It is a rule of nature. Nature exists on a principle of mutual benefit. Sentient to sentient, sentient to insentient, and insentient to insentient help each other mutually in nature. Else, nature is inoperative if the benefit is unidirectional toward, only, the higher order species. Distinction between species for necessities is not observable. Intelligence is the only distinction amongst all species. Higher, and lower order entities are equal in nature. A system of opposites.

Nature enthralls and frightens us. The objects are the same in broad daylight, or in dark. Yet, darkness frightens us; nocturnal species are unafraid. We can see clearly in daylight; nocturnal animals can see clearly in the dark. Seeing is equal, but daylight is nighttime for nocturnal species. A system of opposites.

Nature is serene and furious. The beautiful, enjoyable, and calming serenity of nature is rejuvenating to us. We like to be in the lap of serene nature like a child in mother’s lap. However, when furious we are content observing in a shelter from afar. It calms, and instills fear. A system of opposites.

Nature protects and destroys. Protects what it seeks to keep; destroys the discardable. Destruction is not easily understood because the distinction of existent and nonexistent nature is seen in absolute terms. Destruction in nature is an object’s journey to a subtle form. Subtle, manifest, and back to subtle form is the rhythm of life in nature. Objects produced by nature are destroyable. The objects we produce remain as an ageless reminder of our arrogance that production without destructive capacity is beyond our ability. In our lives, if we damage someone else’s property we are responsible for restoring, or replacing the product. Laws of our existential systems. Nature is not our property. Does nature not expect her products to be restored too? A natural law exists too, and that must be understood for the prosperity of future generations. A system of opposites.

Nature expands and contracts. From a primordial origin to the existential form, we behold, is expansion of nature. Expansion is always followed by contraction. The time scale of our life, and nature are akin to the lifetime of a cell in the body, and us existentially. We are micro, and nature is macro. We are born weighing less than ten pounds, we grow for fifty plus years, and gradually shrink as we near the end of our life. The maximum scale of our life is a hundred, nature has a few billion years of life. Expansion is seen as creation, contraction is destruction. Nature is neither created, nor destroyed. It is an eternal asset for whomever possesses vastness. A system of opposites.

Nature is visible and invisible. Visible nature is accessible to every species. Every species thrives in the visible realm. We lose distinction with other species if we limit existence to only the visible realm. Language, and access to our minds through language is the enabler to discover the invisible realm. It is undeniable that the seen environment nourishes, and adorns us in countless ways. Visible domain is beneficial to all species; invisible domain must be infinitely more beneficial for the discoverer in us. Visible is perishable, invisible is imperishable. Food is highly valued by animals. Food does not have comparable value for us. It is essential, but we exist to pursue further. The value we hold for precious entities is unequaled in nature illustrates, clearly, human existence is positioned on a higher platform. Invisible realm is real and accessible to humanity. A system of opposites.

Nature is complex and simple. The manifest presentation of nature is simple. Every species uses nature for survival without a thought. Insects seek pollen, birds take wings, snakes slither, fish swim, grazers find grass, predators hunt, every species thrives in a unique domain unmatched with other animal species. Similar pattern is observable in plants, and stones. Planetary systems, the Sun, and other galactic bodies exist maintaining a similar balance in nature. There is only one Sun to power our planetary system. We don’t witness a competitor to the Sun opting to open shop to energize Earth. Each exists within the confines of their domain. Competition in nature does not exist. The visible spectrum is a simple cohabitation of countless objects in harmony. Why should they coexist in such harmony? Complexity in nature is hidden when we explore ‘why?’ These objects, obviously, did not choose to come into existence on their own. Why would an entity opt to take birth as an insect to perish in a few weeks? It is an unattractive birth from the podium of human thought. Yet, Earth belongs to the insects as the largest species. The biodiversity of plants, without insects, would be impacted is not difficult to fathom. Simple manifestation, complex existential tenets are behind every entity. The vastness does not exist for self-enjoyment. It exists for the enjoyment of the possessor. Existential enjoyment cannot be seen in any other species other than humans. We can enjoy it because we can discover life. Other species exist because they possess life. Pleasure is not experienced, nor seen in other species. We can experience the pleasure of existence, but it must be a cultured experience. Cultured existence navigates our lives contextually to show the possessor’s existence. We are cultured species of nature. Everything in our lives must be cultured. We brush, bathe, wear clothes, cook food, converse, emote, and seek higher pursuits are physical traits, but pursuing intelligence is the primary motive for cultured existence. Without maintaining clear distinctions with other species daily, we descend into the world of animals easily. The unpleasant sight of a person who does not shower for a few days demonstrably illustrates the necessity of culture in our existence. Every aspect of our existential journey is cultured. Uncultured human existence is seen only among the uncontacted. Uncontacted are cultured too to protect the forests. Culture is not only the daily practices in life, but also intricately woven with intelligence. The daily practices culture demands without the intelligence component would be unsustainable. Ancestral cultural practices thrive despite incessant objections and questions with tangible and intangible connections illuminate the necessity of culture for humanity. Modern experts claim the importance of existential systems invented in recent times as essential for human survival. The history of humanity is not on the side of modernity. Humanity will survive, and thrive without modern systems must be an undisputed truth when we evaluate our history. Without culture we will be lifeless, directionless, and slowly vanish from the annals of human history like the Romans, Ottomans, and many others from recent history. A system of opposites.

Into a natural world and order we have superimposed artificial qualities of competition, economics, democracy, and varied other systems, which exist to create a dependent society void of faith, trust, culture, and norms. Culture, like insects, takes birth yearly as a new trend. We have been given a drug of ‘new,’ we seek newness without evaluation of qualitative aspects. New cultures, trends, thoughts, modern gadgets, AI, and myriad manifestations of modernity are not progressive; they are fatal. Unlike other species, we can enjoy, and discover a possessor of this vastness is the purpose for human life. It cannot be outsourced to a device without disrupting our journey, and quality of life. A precious birth is squandered if we allow objects, devices, and systems, which are uncultured, to influence us. Cultured aspects in life are harmless, proven, verifiable, and supreme; uncultured is unproven, untested, and unverifiable, it is far from supreme. Dependence on the possessor of vastness is energizing, satisfying, enriching, and purposeful. Dependence on systems and devices created for selfish purposes is enervating, unenriching, unsatisfying, and purposeless. Unsatisfied existence invites troubles. Satisfied life is free of problems. Cultured, and uncultured human existence. A system of opposites in modernity. Natural order, modern or ancestral is indefatigable. Cultured life makes us a part of a vigorous system of life. Humanity and culture are inseparable. Post-modern times return us to a cultured existence is unquestionable.
