Ukraine, Nature Reveals the Winner

We are witnessing geopolitical and economic shifts in the world. Alliances established at the end of World War II, except NATO, are dissolved such as Warsaw Pact nations. The old Soviet Union has been split. Divided Germany is united today. Nations, which were left devastated after WWII are ascending. Deserts blossomed into sprawling vistas in the Middle East. Weak and populous nations such as China and India, are emerging economically and militarily. New alliances, globally, are redefining national aspirations. Nations, which were meek and acceding to the unipolar world order are challenging the Western perception of human condition. Governance, which was centered on societal development, shifted to advancement of a select few wealthy people controlling finance, and technology. The well-being of the super wealthy has assumed the shade of betterment of humanity. Human life is a puppet show of the ultra-wealthy controlled through various organizations such as George Soros’ Open Society. Human thoughts on life, spearheaded by people like Bill Gates, George Soros, Elon Musk, Jamie Dimon, et cetera reign supreme on collective humanity. Intelligence, which should be equal to all of us, has been hijacked by a select few who wax poetic on every issue confronting humanity. Huge shifts. It would have been impossible to predict a few decades back based on day-to-day coverage of events. We are impacted by these global events. Ask a Venezuelan, Iraqi, Irani, and many others across the globe, the impact is palpably close to an individual life. How do we prepare to live life surrounded by uncertainty? Why would equitable nature display disparity between species? Evaluating nature reveals our existential truth.

The truth of our existence is essential to understand our individual life, as well as the broader world around us. Life is not an esoteric journey. It is an equal journey for the educated and the uneducated. Rich and poor distinction is untraceable. The essential quality for humans is identical across the humanitarian spectrum. Nature is undeniably equanimous. Humanity is succumbing to an artificial layer of law and order that is antithetical to nature. Law and order must be simpatico with nature. However, modern legal edifice, and the structure of life within the confines various existential systems such as Economics, Finance, Insurance, and the philosophical perch on which they are erected, such as Democracy, Capitalism, Markets, et cetera, are deeply flawed. Life exists in a state of ambiguity within an unnatural bubble. We have lost the distinction between natural and artificial. Flawed structures lead to flawed outcomes. It gives us an illusion of triumphant human endeavors. 

If some of our efforts are triumphant, why do some efforts fall short of expectations? Why do we witness bias in the success ratio? Much of the world population has never experienced the pleasure of success; they merely toil through the drudgery of existence. Life, a burdensome experience for large swaths of the population. An unbiased evaluation of human condition, logically, would lead us to conclude that triumphant human efforts are accidental. They are not replicable. We have evolved accidentally; our life is an accidental journey; making the best out of what comes to us unhindered is the lone choice we have. Superior human race must be a mirage. 

A mirage, it cannot be. It is antithetical to the source we rely upon for living. It provides us with an unimaginable wealth of resources. It nourishes, quenches, thrills, and energizes us. Sunny, or cloudy, rain, or snow, valley, or mountains, rivers, or oceans, day, or night, spring, or winter, stars, and galaxies, and beyond exist in perfect harmony and unambiguously. We are the only race who can enjoy the spectacular beauty of the natural world. We do not exist to merely toil and rest like animal species. We need to receive the beauty of our natural world. Only the beautiful can appreciate and cherish beauty. We are a beautiful race. How can we accept anything less than beautiful and natural?

We have stopped admiring nature. We have embraced artificial philosophical structures in life, and are attracted to the newness of life defined by industry. New trends, new cultures, new thoughts, new discoveries, new products, new shows, new drugs, new diseases, artificial newness of life designed, defined, and governed by the leaders we choose. We are engaged, actively, in destroying our beauty as a race. Are we opting for such an outcome, or is there a larger entity thrusting humanity into an abyss? 

Earth is a large object. It is guided by the larger Sun. Larger Sun is guided by a larger galaxy. The Galaxy is guided by the larger Northern Star. Every object micro and macro are guided by larger and larger objects. The impeccable order, precision, and predictable behavior of these natural systems exist to awaken the human mind to the existence of a larger entity governing the vastness of the cosmos. Nature is orderly, predictable, and governed. Dark clouds forewarn us of imminent rain. Seasons warn us of changing aspects of our environment. Rivers make their way to reach the oceans. Ocean waves reach the shore. Everything around us demonstrates an immaculate order. A natural order. 

Natural order is predictable. The unnatural order of modern times is unpredictable. However, we can use the predictability of nature to glean the future direction of human pursuits. We cannot evaluate and predict the events of modern times solely through the lens of democracy, freedom, markets, economy, capitalism, and so on. All these are artificial edifices of the human mind. It is not created keeping in mind the natural working order of life. It assumed life accidentally. And it gives accidental results. We are not aware why things work in the context of life. Humanity abandoned their natural inclinations of understanding life to accept artificial systems. We live as an experiment of a mortal’s endeavors to create an artificial perfection. When do we realize we cannot superimpose perfection on an already perfect system!

When we receive favorable results in life, we deem it as ours. When the results are unfavorable to us, we find an external excuse. Our responsibility is nil. We do not control the external environment to affect favorable outcomes. Success, or failure for human endeavors must have another component than our meager thoughts and efforts. How should we view when the best laid plans go awry? Our effort is a small component of our mind; cooperation of nature is a larger and more potent component, which determines success, or failure. Our success, or failure, eventually, is the success of nature. Just as we protect our self-interest, nature being a larger entity will also protect her interest. Her interest is an impeccable balance of existence. From small to large, sentient to insentient, movable to immovable all exist in a perfect balance that we cannot even dream of creating. Just as nature works relentlessly, we must endeavor to work relentlessly for nature. Alas, our endeavors are inclined toward the promotion of artificial systems. It behooves us to discover that nature is equally at work to keep the natural order intact.

The Ukraine conflict reveals how nature is leaning in the opposite direction of Western interests. Half a century of succeeding on the global stage is being usurped in the battlefield of Ukraine. Russia, which could have easily taken down Ukraine is waging the war for over a year. Ukraine is not the focus of the conflict for Russia, Western hegemony is the target. Western efforts to rally the world behind them have failed. The capitalistic and democratic thought processes are unnatural for humanity. Humanity does not exist in a homogenized state. They are diverse culturally, and regionally. One model of life across the world is unfit for human needs. Humanity does not come into existence without an identity. Human life is a journey of cultural and intellectual transformation. The West’s attempts to homogenize the human population void of cultural and religious identity will face defeat in the arms of nature. Narrative presented by the West that Russia cannot endure a protracted battle has failed. Western sanctions have failed. Western weapons have failed. Hubris is always defeated in nature. 

The battle in Ukraine is a conflict of cultural ascendance. Humanity has been pushed to accept and value artificial, uncultured, and unnatural qualities invented in the Western Hemisphere. The operational systems adopted across the world are tilted heavily to favor Western hegemony. Abnormal and uncultured behavior of humanity is promoted and cherished, pushing humanity perilously close to the edge of a precipice. A person declaring as a transgender is projected as a triumphant human spirit. Western attempts to homogenize the human population through various channels such as Human Rights, Women’s Rights, Freedom of Speech, LGBTQ Rights, Democracy, Capitalism, Happiness Index, and other tools are lifeless and utterly useless for nature, and humanity. 

If we merely see the events as the actions of mortal humans, then the broader canvas of nature will become inconsequential. Nature is a powerful, intelligent, and deliberate entity that will unleash devastating consequences because it fulfills its role to perfection. Is humanity fulfilling their role to perfection? Our capacity can only be awakened by able leaders with wisdom of ancestry. Irrational exuberance about pseudo development on the tenets of modern outlook of individuality, unwarranted and imprecise thoughts, abnormality reigning supreme, hubris of wealth, and economic superiority will be dethroned by nature. The hubris of the West will be usurped by ancestral moorings. Ancestry did not exist in utter ignorance as seen through the Western perspective of human history. They had a rich and vibrant life that is far superior to the technological advancements of the present day. It protected, and nourished not only humans, but the broader nature too. The strength of ancestry is undeniable. Ancestral wisdom is a powerful and deliberate system that resonates with nature. Ukraine signals a change in the direction of the winds for humanity. Post-Modernism is at the doorsteps of humanity.
