Awareness Beyond the Physical Realm

A seed takes root in the soil. Physically we are aware of the process. Plant a seed in the soil, water the soil regularly, the seed sprouts to emerge as a plant, and decorates our environment with flowers, vegetables, and fruits. An effortless process. Works unfailingly. However, can we claim complete command of the process? Why does the seed develop roots? What activates the germination process? How does the seed extract nutrients from the soil? Several processes come together for germination, and eventual growth of the seed to a plant can be inferred from observation. Subtle processes trigger the germination of a seed to a plant. Soil and water are the medium that supports germination, but it is not the cause for plant growth. There must exist a force beyond the medium of soil, water, and the person planting the seed. Why should we care to dig deeper into an incomprehensible existential layer? Is it not sufficient to know that planting, and watering regularly yields us nutrition in the form of fruits and vegetables. Our existential needs are met knowing the effortless process of cultivation, at least by the farmer who delivers us food. Indeed, a valid argument, however, our intellectual growth rests on understanding beyond the physical realm. Animals possess an equal, or superior knowledge of the physical realm. Human race should never compare itself against animal species. We are a superior race, and every molecule is aware of our intellectual reach. Intelligence exists beyond the manifest forms we witness. Discovering beyond the physical space strengthens us in ways unimaginable, and yet to be discovered by modern reach of knowledge.

Reexamine the seed growing in dirt. What is the hidden process triggering growth? The germination process of a seed, and our internal physical growth is identical. It must be identical. One process manifests in uncountable shapes and forms. We are not denying the scientific discoveries that identified various subtle aspects of biological growth we witness. All those reasons are valid. However, they are all various aspects of the physical manifestation witnessed microscopically. The one process that should concern us is that which is yet to be detected by scientists, or scientific instruments. It is conclusive that scientists have not discovered all things about life. They are grappling with the concept of life without reaching consensus. Furthermore, humanity existed and accomplished far greater achievements without damaging the environment is sufficient proof of ancestral heritage. Ancestry knew of a single process that explains the magnificence of our Universe should not be dismissed as unscientific.

When all the various modern scientific explanations for the growth of seed can be replaced with a singular concept that is applicable galactically, across all species, and for humanity as well is demonstrably superior must be, unconditionally, accepted. Just as we see value in scientific assertions, there is an equal, or superior value in ancestral knowledge. Knowledge must have existed, much earlier than what is accepted as the age of knowledge, for humanity to build, and erect structures that can be seen even today across many parts of the world. Usefulness of ancestral knowledge will usurp what is in currency in the present time should be a consideration humanity must be aware of because our ancestors did not live damaging the living environment. The value of systems of existence that existed a millennium back, or earlier, must be investigated with an open mind to deliver solutions for the problems we are accosted with in society.

We are surrounded by problems. It may not concern ordinary citizens, but governing authorities are colliding with devastating evidence such as floods and drought, melting of polar ice caps, threat of rising oceans, increasing summer heat, forever chemicals in our streams and in our body, an exceedingly lengthy list can be easily prepared, however, small sample should suffice to come to awareness that our lifestyle, and the subsequent consequences in nature must be conclusive and definitive communication to alert the public. Public must also become cognizant that modernity is constrained, and that all the wealth in the world may prove unworthy of removing the problems. Trillions of dollars have been spent to counter changes we witness in the environment, many agreements among nations have been signed, all the nations gather periodically to alleviate the burden of governance amid the threatening changes in our ecosystem. Yet, an end to the issues facing humanity to our habitat is as distant as ever.

Do we possess the solutions to these challenges we see, or do we not have the will to implement available solutions? Humanity deserves a definitive answer. We are sacrificing, and toying with children of the present time, and of future generations. Discussion about children’s education, and their future path brings passionate collisions in public forums, yet we are nonplussed about a much bigger crisis looming, not only for children, but for adults as well. We rely on industry, and governance to solve problems confronting humanity. Does it not dawn on humanity that our problems cannot be solved by industry, and governance? They are incapable, and ill prepared to deal with adversity, and the solutions they propose require billions upon billions, and seek funding from the government. Spending billions on industrial proposals does not guarantee a reversal in environmental trends.

Has the situation turned hopeless? It must be abundantly clear to even the uneducated among us that nature continues to deliver us with abundance despite the havoc we inflicted in the environment. We are an intelligent manifestation of nature, and nature relies upon humanity to maintain an environmental balance. When humanity, and nature are doppelgangers, relying on a mechanism that is antithetical to nature can never bring us closer to solving the problem. The billions spent on industry to solve environmental problems should be diverted to humanity, community, and society. Humanity can solve these problems. Industry cannot. Humanity must awaken from the stupor of modernity, and shoulder responsibility for the sake of our children to build communal, and societal systems to restore the pristine quality of nature. Prosperity of humanity is prosperity in nature.

We started our discussion with a seed. Seed requires soil and water for germination. We discovered that there is one process that holistically describes the activity of germination. This narration was necessitated because scientists are inventing ways to reduce the dependence on water for the germination process due to the looming crisis of droughts in several areas of the world. Mad scientists. Have the scientists discovered that such an endeavor will not create crises in other areas of life? Can we be sure that growing crops with less water will serve humanity without degrading our health? How did scientists satisfy that these inventions in food science have neutral consequences on the human population? Are the consequences in nature neutral as well? How did they gather the evidence to propose a solution alleviating the dependence on water for growing food? For humanity shoulders responsibility too for irrational and exuberant adoption of solutions that does not account for the adverse effects on nature. Industry introduced humanity to plastics, the ramifications of overdependence on plastics reverberates in the environment after 50 plus years.

One failed example should be enough for humanity to put a curb on scientific solutions. Why does humanity rely upon the integrity and purity of scientific thought when it is squarely under the control of industrial and wealthy interests? Humanity has not benefited in modern times because the pace of creating billionaires is a dismal failure. The opportunities for the youth will be reduced further in the decades ahead. With that thought in our minds, let us return to the holistic process of seed germination, and the usefulness for humanity to understand and contribute to solving the problems, and diverting the billions poured into solving environmental problems should be routed to citizens.

What is the creative process nature engaging when soil, seed, water come together? We should be curious to discover an elemental, and primitive process that governs life. Billions of years have elapsed, yet the process remains unchanged. It will remain unchanged. We rely upon the continuity of this process with utter confidence. Educated, uneducated, animals, plants, microcosmically, and galactically the process continues unrelentingly. The seed is deriving energy from the soil for growth. Energy of life. If the soil is parched, the seed cannot germinate. If the soil is moistened, the seed comes to life. What transforms in soil when moistened to offer seed a platform for growth? This process cannot be witnessed in a laboratory. It is not known to the scientific community because modern knowledge base assumes that water was formed after the formation of Earth.

Elements exist in subtle, and manifest forms. Manifest form is our external world. Subtle form is invisible. Invisible to even the most advanced scientific instruments. Earth, which is soil in our example, in subtle form is much bigger than the subtle form of water. Thus, a subtle form of water can penetrate the soil, and release energy for the seed to commence the transformative process. The subtle form of the water penetrated the seed to activate the germination process. The seed hides, in subtle form, the manifest plant we witness. When the subtle form of water penetrates the soil, it splits it to release hidden nutrients. The seed is split to activate the hidden growth mechanism. The oscillation between subtle to manifest, and manifest to subtle is an incessant process in nature.

The physical manifestation is merely one component of our life. We oscillate too just like plants. We are here today in manifest form. We will return to subtle form. From subtle we return to manifest. We have endured countless journeys in the billions of years of span of the present Sun. Planets, stars, and galaxies endure a similar journey. Subtle to manifest, and manifest to subtle is the cycle of creation is supreme ancestral thought. It is relevant to rediscover ancestral thoughts because they saw nature reverentially, for without reverence to nature, natural and environmental changes will worsen, and humanity will face catastrophic consequences that can be seen today. Post-Modern times can usher in a time of slowing down of the environmental changes impacting humanity, and other species.
