Comparative Study of Micro, and Macro Cosmos, Body, and Existential Systems-Part 6

Five sensory, and five functional organs are not independent. They are controlled by our mind, which we explored as Enjoyer, and Discoverers. Our mind is a record keeper of our deeds. Every night, when we sleep, the mind remains awakened to compile our deeds into records. These records that mind compiles are stored eternally. The rewards, or punishment we enjoy in this birth, or in future manifestations are indelibly recorded, and stored in our minds. Our birth is akin to withdrawing a small amount of cash from our deposit in a bank, billions are left, yet, to spend. Just as spending the withdrawn amount does not equate to zero balance in our financial matters, this birth does not equate to our last birth. We have billions left, yet, to spend in the form of future births. Imagine, the countless generations who lived on this Earth depending, and consuming the same resources. We would not be left with resources to survive if every entity had only one life to live. The process of life would, and should stop, ought to be a logical conclusion. We are not living in the present moment with such thoughts as well. We are living as though the engine of life will continue unabated. No doubt that it will, indeed, continue. Will it continue in the present mode, or will it change is an existential question for humanity.

Vagaries of our minds are incomprehensibly complex. Billions of people, and billions of dissimilar outcomes. A safe path in life cannot be plotted through the unimaginable variance we witness. Modern systems of existence designed to bridge the gaps in human condition have not succeeded. They have made the existence of humanity far worse, comparatively, when we evaluate the living condition of our ancestors. When modern systems have made environmental, and ecological systems worse, it is not a logical stretch to conclude that human condition worsened in the last few centuries.

How can we establish a worsening of human condition logically, and attribute it to modernity doubtlessly? Returning to the laboratory of our vast nature is the only way to, conclusively, witness the impact of our modernity on our existence. From a rock to the king of the jungle, every entity enjoys, and exists inconspicuously. Their life’s outcome mimics each other’s within the confines of the body an entity occupies. A predator enjoys predator’s life, a prey enjoys prey’s life, an insentient plant enjoys plant’s life, a rock enjoys a rock’s existence. If we were to plot their life’s trajectory, we will witness that each species’ locus of life exists without much deviation. Victimization is inevitable in nature. Every species’ life is dependent on some other species. It is an unbreakable law of nature. However, it has to be observed, and inferred that all these species are reliant upon their intellect inherent to their body. They are not aware of the presence of mind, but their intellect serves them to lead a life free from problems. We have marveled at the ability of a bird to build beautiful nests with simple materials. How did the bird build such a wonderment? It did not attend, and graduate from a schooling system. It did not receive training from peers in building a nest. Untrained, a bird can construct a nest. The question to ponder is can anything be ever done without intelligence?

Intelligence is essential in life. It exists in varied forms in everything around us. From a speck of dust to the king of jungle, from planets to stars, from galaxies to the cosmos, every atom possesses intelligence. Level of intelligence varies from body to body. There is not a scintilla of evidence to suggest that intelligence is absent in any entity. Manifestation of intelligence varies depending on the body an object occupies. Presence of intelligence is undeniable across the vastness of space. Human race is an integral part of the cosmos, too. Why does intelligence elude the human race?

We have outsourced intelligence to educational institutions. From the moment we step into kindergarten our life’s journey, for most of us, is ascending higher and higher in educational ranks. Sixteen plus years of educational pursuits to obtain certification in a specified field of study. Did an individual live without intellect from birth till graduation? How should we view the many who do not pursue college education? Are they unintelligent? Observing nature, we can see that intelligence exists in every atom. Thus, intelligence and education are independent of each other. Education offers us skills to do specific tasks in a specified field of knowledge. From birth till graduation our lives were led by intelligence. Education did not play a role in our lives to rank it higher than intelligence. Intelligence is the energy that propels cosmic changes, and just as it exists in insentient species, it exists in the human race too.

We are sentients; capable of discovering mind, intelligence, and possess a unique awareness that eludes all other objects in this cosmos. Our superiority among species is predicated on discovering intelligence that is inherently present. Led by mind, our lives provide us with disparate, and incongruous results. We can witness it in our society all around us. We are not aware of the baggage of our existence, which is held in our mind as stored records, called as Karma in Eastern philosophical strands. An equivalent word in the English language does not exist. Karma is not attributable only for negative consequences; positive, or negative implications, in life, is karma. We are bounded, inextricably, by karma. Pleasure, or pain, joy, or suffering, rich, or poor, tribal, or civilized, cultured, or uncultured, health, or ill health, the kaleidoscopic variations we witness across the vastness of humanity is due to karma. It is pervasive throughout the cosmos. The soul occupying our Mother Earth exists due to karma. Our Sun exists due to karma.

Why is it important for us to discover life from the karmic perspective? Life has to be understood for us to live contented lives. We cannot exist unknowingly, or in a state of ignorance without causing damage to our intelligence. We consume food because we rely upon the intellectual capacity of our stomach to extract the needed nutrition from the substance we ingest. We are not privileged to know what our internal body requires to maintain health. Our gut is aware. Once again, we should return to the laboratory of nature to discover that animals are not consuming food based on the nutritional value of the substance. A cow absorbs all the nutrition it requires eating blades of grass. It does not seek to find proteins, antioxidants, and so on in the food it eats. A cow needs proteins as well. It grows many times its birth weight eating the same substance. Its stomach can extract the necessary nutrition from the ingested food. A predator can eat raw meat, a bird can eat worms, snakes survive without food for many weeks, are examples of the diversity of life. Each exists on a unique platform. Each with a unique mechanism to survive, and thrive in the wilderness of life. Life exists in a preset order. We did not invent it. It is a cycle of life that continues unchanged for eons.

Humanity must discover this order of existence as a superior race. We should not surmise our existence to hypothetical suppositions. The inner workings of karma, and how intelligence unshackles us from karma will be continued tomorrow. Post-modern era is the awakening of inherent intelligence.
