Discoverer and the discovered. We are the discoverers. Everything around us is discovered. Discovering the visible realm does not require training. Obvious, the existence of animate and inanimate materials. It is seen, or inferenced. Both methods offer conclusive evidence for the Discoverer’s satisfaction. Why should these objects exist? What necessitates the existence of myriad objects across galaxies if they remain undiscovered? Imagine an uncut diamond, it could be easily discarded in the hands of an untrained Discoverer. The same uncut diamond, in the hands of a professional diamond cutter assumes radiance hitherto unseen. Uncut diamond transforms to a diamond. It is desired and valued. That diamond when adorned by an individual adds value to the adorner. The diamond radiates brilliance, and decorates the wearer with beauty. Purpose fulfilled.
Diamond’s unbelievable journey. Aided by a Discoverer, a diamond transformed from an imprisoned existence deep in the layers of Earth’s crust, and emerged as radiating splendor for the adorner. Did the Discoverer add unsought value, or did the diamond display worthiness to the discoverer? Logically, diamond must have communicated, clearly, the value to the Discoverer. Else, transformation is impossible. Everything around us communicates with the Discoverer to unlock hidden potential for transformative existence. Why should they choose to be uplifted? What obsession objects possess to be discovered? The relentless pursuit of finding glory is on manifest display in every object. What does the benevolent Discoverer gain expending enormous energy to lift the existence of decillions of inanimate objects?
Monetary value is gained by the Discoverer. However, it pales in comparison to what was gained by an inanimate object. Surrounded by coal, imprisoned in a mine, Discoverer deploys all the might to unearth a precious gem for trivial financial gain is unworthy, and unrewarding experience for an intelligent species. The financial riches would have to be less appealing when the Discoverer evaluates that wealthy, or poor, gains belonging to the Earth remain on Earth. Discoverer cannot carry the material gains upon departure from the body. It should baffle our minds evaluating the disproportionate gains of an inanimate object far exceeds the monetary gains Discoverer obtains. An inanimate object knows the value, and superiority of the Discoverer. Discoverer, however, remains completely captivated by ephemeral gains, and exists in a uber superior state. Discoverer can be Discovered too. Enjoyer is being Enjoyed also.
It is imperative for humanity to discern that all the greatness that was achieved was eclipsed, or totally forgotten within the discoverer’s lifetime, or in subsequent generations. Greatness was not sustained. When the Space Shuttle first roared to the skies in early 80’s, it was seen as a tremendous achievement for humanity. The crash of Space Shuttle Columbia two decades later ended the supremacy reign. Every great achievement of humanity faded over the course of time. Fading greatness cannot be deemed as greatness. We witnessed a number of great achievements eclipsed within the past century. Refrigeration transformed food production and distribution, yet none of us are reverential to refrigeration. It is ubiquitous. One can list item after item, person after person, to discover that the fame and greatness was irrational exuberance. The qualitative property necessary to sustain greatness did not exist. Greatness was a cosmetic property. Today we consider the Internet as a great tool and product for humanity. How has humanity benefited, and how does it transport us to a higher plateau? Humanity, at least a significant proportion, has embraced the Internet in our daily lives. We depend on it; we indulge in it. Yet, every search we make to discover, or gather knowledge widens the gap between humanity. Tales from the past become irrelevant. Human intelligence suffers in the grip of terabytes of data. Human condition is weakened by the purported greatness of the Internet. Greatness uplifts every object as we witnessed with the example of a diamond. Greatness of the Internet cannot be sustained into the next century, is guaranteed.
As the Discoverer drifts in the sands of the desert, and widens the humanitarian gap jumping from oasis to oasis for individual survival, stronger ancestral influences will grow upon humanity. Discoverer will awaken to the fact that we can be the Discovered too. As Discoverers we should become aware of who can discover our existence. Intelligence exists behind the Discoverer. Intelligence is an entity that every object in the universe possesses. It exists a layer below our mind.
A diamond needed a diamond cutter to bring out the inherent radiance. Discoverer needs ancestral teachings to uncover Intelligence. Ignorance masquerades as intelligence in modern times can be easily deduced with a quick scan of news. Humanity exists in a crisis mode. War breaks out, a crisis in energy erupts. Virus unleashes health crisis. Environment crisis. Climate crisis. Supply chain crisis. Crisis everywhere we see. A crisis, always, requires attention. Moving from crisis to crisis we live with heightened survival instincts. Survival instincts suppresses Intelligence. Our Sun is not in crisis. Our Galaxy is not in crisis. We are surrounded by the serene order of the cosmos. We should lift our lives to the Cosmic level for crisis free existence. A job for Intelligence. A change is emerging in the world around us; like an untrained eye cannot detect the brilliance of a diamond, we are unable to see the shift to Post-Modern times too.
