Comparative Study of Micro, and Macro Cosmos, Body, and Existential Systems-Part 4

Enjoyer, the mind is a powerful entity. Direction, or misdirection in our lives is regulated by an invisible entity. It is, however, easily influenced by external, and existential conditions when charioteered by Ravana. We should investigate our external, and existential conditions to discover the true state of our life. Our life is encircled with impermanence, uncertainty, and a poisoned environment. We have seen that every object wields influence in the cosmos. Undoubtedly modern existential systems leave an imprint in our minds. Every aspect of modern life is weakened, and the philosophical perch does not have legs. Modern life is cultureless. The tree of modernity never developed roots because the purpose is diverted to serve narrow interests rather than humanity. Probe education to discover subservience to business, and governance. Education does not serve a humanitarian purpose. Value of modern education is, merely, to obtain a job. Shrunken humanity has accepted reduced, and subservient education of modern times as knowledge. Supremacy of education has caved to selfish interests, and we witness a parade of paid actors promoting a failed institution. Humanity has lost the definition for superiority. When we possess clarity of supremacy, it will be easy to reject the modern attempts to promote purposeless systems ruining lives. Does an ocean announce, and declare supremacy? It doesn’t. It need not. Supremacy is inherent, and every moment is supreme. We have relinquished our supreme quality, and search, vainly, in shallow history to rediscover lost quality.

Our past glory is in plain sight. Our acceptance is made difficult because we do not journey toward greatness. We remain grounded in impermanent, and uncertain modern existential structures, and view the deep-rooted supremacy of our ancestors with disdain. Imprudence develops leading trustless life; we develop unending questions, and see the vastness of ancestry through the same lens. The uncertainty of modern times extends to ancestral times injudiciously. Embracing wisdom that took eons in the making is a diamond, supreme. The value of a diamond is not ascertained by every person. To an untrained eye, it is a piece of glass; a diamond for an assayer. Accepting supremacy of ageless wisdom lifts an individual to the peaks of the highest mountains to protect humanity. We will commence to live an assured life, be it modern times, or post-modern times. Health, wealth, and joy will be our possession.

How do we hand off the reins of our life to Sri Rama? Human race needs to be led. We came into existence because we are capable of discovering mind. Mind exists in every object; however, all the other species are incapacitated to discover mind. Presence of mind, which is invisible, cannot be discovered by individual efforts. We need training, and tools to discover all that is invisible to us. Chaos encircles our lives when we are unable to discover the invisible, and supreme.

Mind is an ageless, and imperishable matter. We did not acquire it in this birth. It exists, undiscoverable, in every object. Our Sun has a mind. A grain of sand has mind. An atomic particle has a mind. All these objects, atomic to massive, cannot discover the presence of mind. They are insentient. We need to learn to discover that every object possesses sensory organs appropriate for the body. A vine sees a tree branch to creep up. Else, how could it creep up? Work is an intellectual endeavor. A vine entwining around a tree branch, or support is evidence of a visual organ appropriate for the body of the vine. An insentient vine does not need training, but a human does. Because humans are the supreme entity in this vastness. We are the only species with fully developed sensory, and functional organs, and the ability to acquire intelligence to discover the mind.

We bath, dress, and consume prepared food. All are cultured activities. Bathing, dressing, and eating prepared food are done for the benefit of the physical body. We have discovered that the mind is not a physical entity because it exists in a subtle form, and departs when the soul discards the body. Mind, thus, requires cleansing too. Physical body made of dirt can be washed away, because dirt is washed off with water. How do we cleanse our mind? Our mind must be cleansed, too, for it regulates our life. Mind is cleansed with intelligence. Intelligence of the self. Intelligence of the guiding principles in our Universe. Intelligence of the past, present, and future. Intelligence in life leads to certainty. Certainty breeds decisiveness. Decisiveness in life liberates humanity. Liberated humanity achieves supremacy. Supremacy attained, we escape the birth and death cycle.

A cut leaves a scar to alter our physical body. Mind is not subjected to such transformations. It remains intact undeterred by the changes to the physical body. It is a repository of records of our deeds from past lives, present life, and many future births. The records cannot be damaged ever, like the black box on a jet plane. Whether we take birth as a human, or some other entity, the mind carries with it the operations manual to activate functionality of any object. Our birth is an experience of few of those past records. Reward, or punishment we experience is congruous with our deeds. We need not doubt the ability of the mind to host records when a tiny chip that we make possesses the ability to have terabytes of data. The data on a chip may be damaged; records stored in the mind are never damaged. They remain, unchanged, eternally when we don’t embrace intelligence.

Sri Krishna charioteering, and Arjuna with bow and arrow in the battlefield of Kurkshetra is an iconic image. An image that reveals how to ease the burden of life. Greatness of ancestry. Our life is a battlefield. Enemies are known on the battlefield. Our enemy, mind, is an unknown, and invisible entity guiding our existence unbeknownst to us. Victorious we will not be against an invisible powerful enemy. Our culture, religion, training, and tools of ancestry are all designed to defeat an invisible enemy. The process of defeating begins with a simple process of self-awareness of our existence in the vastness of the cosmos. Self-awareness is the discovery of mind. When mind is discovered, reigns transfer from Ravana to Sri Rama. Our lives turn from controlled to led. A life led by an intelligent charioteer leads to victory. Choice rests with us. We need to choose. Do we opt for supremacy, or debility? Tools do not change because times have changed. Ancestral times, medieval period, renaissance, industrial era, information era, or Post-Modern era, tools remain, eternally, the same because the mind is ageless. Ageless requires ageless tools. Post-Modern times will reset humanity.
