Enjoyer and the Enjoyed consists of, in subtle form, 10 sensory and functional organs, and mind has been established. We know the functionality of sensory and functional organs in a body. The five sensory organs provide us with intelligence of the external world. They are incapacitated to look inward. The five functional organs perform tasks, once again, in the external world. Modernity identifies more functional organs like muscular system, digestive system, circulatory system, respiratory system, and a few more. However, we don’t have control over these internal systems. The five functional organs walking, grabbing, talking, urinary, and excretion functions are controllable. We decide where to walk, what to grab, what we speak, and etc. Life is dependent on the intelligence we gather, which our sensory organs provide. We choose what we see, hear, touch, taste, and smell. Control of organs, essentially, defines our existence. Uncontrollable processes, even though they exist it varies from body to body. Digestive system for a human is different between species. Similarly, every other internal system for manifold species.
Our sensory and functional organs are governed by our mind. Our mind directs where and how to deploy intelligence gatherers, and ancillary tasks to assist in intelligence gathering are performed by functional limbs. Our existence is not random. Every activity we engage with our body is targeted for a specific purpose. That purpose is ruled, completely, by our mind. Mind is a ruler of our physical body. A close observation of our lives will reveal this truth, unequivocally, to everyone. Sensory and functional organs are the horses for mind. Our body, a chariot, is charioteered by mind. Each body is a kingdom. Kingdom deserves good governance.
Be it our mind, a nation, a corporation, a family, or any entity led by an authoritative figure must exhibit benevolence in governance. Despotic governance leads, ultimately, to a calamitous end. Two examples for consideration. Sri Rama, a ruler in ancestral times of the entire Earth, was a benevolent ruler of the land. Earth flourished during his tenure. Every person in every part of the world lived in joy. Everyone prospered. Fear is non-existent. Health, and wealth, climate, and environment, and sentient, and insentient all co-existed in a blissful environment. Problem, and worry free. Equitable law and order for not only the human race, but for every species. Benevolent ruler abides by intelligence, and truth radiates across his domain. When truth radiates, problems vanish just as darkness disappears with the entrance of light.
Ravana, a despotic ruler of Sri Lanka, despite intellect diverted his intelligence for selfish purposes. His tyrannical rule of Sri Lanka, and deployment of brute strength to overpower many neighboring lands led, ultimately, to his defeat in the hands of Sri Rama. Millions perished in his governance, and anarchy ruled his domain. Fear of Ravana governed everyone. Joy is non-existent. Truth held a dimmed existence. Truth never perishes; Its luminance waits for benevolence, to spread the rays far and wide.
Sri Rama governed the entire Earth because he was an embodiment of humanity. He was the fragrance of humanity. Who among us will not be attracted to fragrance of superior qualities. From birth we are drawn toward superior attributes. Every aspect, every second, our journey is to obtain supremacy. Second rate for humanity is unacceptable. Humanity suffers when we compromise with supremacy. Our body and mind, when they are wrapped in supremacy, existential problems are shattered away.
Which ruler should we choose for our mind? It is obvious that our mind should be governed by benevolence. It frees us from existential fear. Fear leads a palatial existence in our minds. Mind, even though it exists in subtle form, is as vast as space. Roaming free, and creating troubles in our existence is fear, in the vastness of our mind. Fear is the Ravana ruining humanity. Our existential systems are manifold Ravanas unleashing widespread chaos across not only humanity, but in the environment, and among other species of life.
Naturally, we must wonder why does humanity languish in a depraved condition? Clearly, we haven’t made a deliberate choice. We are born, journey in life, made the best choice among the available options, yet our existential joy is out of reach for the ordinary, and the extraordinary. When success is defined as accumulation of wealth in modern times, those who amassed wealth chose to end life. It has to puzzle humanity. Wealth hasn’t solved problems for humanity!
Sensory organ usage comes without training. We see, hear, feel, smell, and taste without formal introduction. From the moment we enter the world, these organs are activated. Walking requires a few months’ time, but all other functions exist in a fully awakened state at the time of birth. Mind, however, requires formal introduction. It requires training, and education to discover the mind. It is not a physical part to discover on your own. Discovering, and controlling the mind is the primary purpose for humanity. Uncontrolled minds are ruled by Ravana. Controlled minds are led by Sri Rama.
Humanity needs to be led in life. A journey through dark, and unfamiliar territory is an individualistic journey. We do not know where danger lurks. We are uncertain of our choices. Certainty becomes uncertainty. Intelligence transforms to arrogance, greed, and fear. We will be alive, but every moment is pregnant with unnavigable choices. Life turns into an exercise for survival. Must we be born as a human to survive. Animal species, and inanimate objects are alive and endure far less troubles. Survival instincts are for animals. Excellence, and supremacy is a human trait. Who should lead our lives?
Should we be led by the likes of Bill Gates, and ilk, or would there be a supreme choice without a shadow of doubt? Witnessing the state of modernity, the uncertainty surrounding us like an ocean with turbulent storms hanging above, and intelligence existing in a state of could be, would be, may be, and should be can never rescue humanity. They are incapable of providing a nourishing platform for humanity to thrive. Nature exists only in dual states. It is on, or off. Gray area does not exist. We need to discover life, not live. We need to discover supremacy. We need to discover the benevolent controller of our mind to open the fragrance of humanity to greet the Post-Modern period.
