‘I exist,’ in the innermost layer of individual existence was explored. ‘I,’ in the innermost layer is just an object in this Universe. Countless objects in this cosmos. Discovering intelligence of the self, elevates existence beyond ordinary objects strewn across the vast expanse. Sun is an object in the sky. Our star is powered by the intelligent effulgence of the ‘I.’ Assume an individual ‘I,’ also, possesses identical intelligence as the burning fire ball in the sky, would the individual be as effulgent as the Sun? Individual splendor will not match. Identical intelligence, differing results cannot be, logically, acceptable to any reasonable thinker because cause and effect will suffer. Cause, and effect guides our vast Universe. For every cause, the effect should and must be identical under all circumstances. Variation in effect will make the logical foundation for the vastness we see, hear, smell, taste, and touch random. Universe is not random. Water molecule wets a surface. It is a qualitative property of water. It is identical across all objects in this vastness. It quenches thirst. Another property of water. Once again, we will discover the impact is identical across all objects. A parched soil absorbs the water molecule just as eagerly as a parched traveler in the desert. A Different outcome is absent. Thus, why does an individual experience a different outcome than our Sun when given an identical platform of intelligence?
Sun radiates across the vastness of our solar system to impact every object. Operational sphere of the Sun is the vast expanse. The effulgence is not restricted to the innermost layer of the Sun’s existence. An individual existence, merely for the self, cannot match the splendor of the Sun without extending the reach of intelligence. Thus, intelligence cannot exist for the selfish purpose of an individual. Utility of intelligence is never limited. Intelligence is a ray of light, and it will travel out of reach as soon as the lamp is lit. All objects possess intelligence in a non-awakened state. As all objects we can exist in a lull, but our journey will no longer be in our possession. The purpose for intelligence is to control our destiny. We come and go, we come back again, again and again is a phenomenon we witness in every object. Why should they come and go? Why do all these objects exist in a helpless position? Just as we question our suffering, logical to assume that every object questions their existence. Insentient existence cannot light the intelligence to question. Hence, they journey from object to object. A fruit today transforms to another object, that object, in turn, transforms to something else. All objects exist, perpetually, transforming. Unknown journey. Intelligence cannot be awakened unless the object takes birth as a human. ‘I exist,’ comes into existence only, in a human body. When ‘I exist’ emerges, should not that awakening examine every object in this vastness? Intelligence, instead of a dim flicker, lights up the vast expanse of our reach beyond the tiny space of ‘I.’
Our orbital existence should not be limited to the inner nucleus of self. We need to ascend higher and higher in our sphere of influence. When every object, sentient and insentient, is influencing everything around it and beyond, mere living is malodorous, and detrimental. Stench is not limited to this birth, it can, and will extend beyond into future births. Effulgence of an individual, thus, should be stretched far wider for intelligence to deliver identical results as it does for the Sun. We are just as luminous as the Sun when our life extends beyond the periphery of ‘I.’
What outer layers exist for an individual? Family is an immediate outer layer, for an individual is born into a family. Our family is strengthened when each individual sheds the self, and indulges to lift the family. Family strengthens the individual too. It is a reciprocative relation. Family is parents and grandparents, brothers and sisters, uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews, and thousands of ancestors. Culture and traditions of family should be upheld, and promoted for subsequent generations. It is a long chain of links. If an individual weakens the link, the impact will be felt by subsequent generations, and the bonds of family will start to fray. Thus, making the strength of family weaker and weaker as we journey into the future as an individual. Existence in a family increases the luminosity of intelligence.
Further outer lies the sphere of community, society, and nation. Individuals and families are part of the wider community, and society. Our lives without a community, and society are unlivable. We depend on society for a wide range of things. We rely on farmers for food. We rely on educators for knowledge. We rely on merchants to procure nourishment. We rely on elders for counsel. Platform of life has a multitude of legs. Our daily lives cannot be imagined without community. Community is vital to our existence. Our intelligence should serve the wider community, too, for our awakening to radiate even brighter. Fuel for intelligence is expansive reach to outer and outer layers of life.
Nature is the furthest external layer of our existence. Life and nature are intricately connected. We are part of nature. Everything we consume, and use is part of nature. Apple cannot make their phones without extracting natural resources. Cars and computers, roads and buildings, ornaments and decorations, nourishment and medicine, TV and internet, and everything we possess is all part of nature. Nature is a vast platform for humanity. Nature impacts us, and our actions impact nature. Just as the Sun influences our Earth with intelligent effulgence, we possess the ability to influence when our existential sphere extends to nature. Clearly with our ignorant and irresponsible behavior we are impacting Earth, and subsequently our individual strength is weakening. Our survival ability is shrinking. Our intelligent stamina is burning on the last drop of fuel. We rely on artificial systems to power our lives without the realization that living and life are different. We should possess life. Living is the domain of animals. Our life, through intelligence, should spread to the external layer of nature for luminosity to burn ever brighter.
Rays of the Sun is matter. Effulgence of the Sun traveling to furthest reaches of our vastness is matter on a transcendental journey. Observe a dried legume to discover that the moisture of the bean was replaced with matter from rays of Sun. When we consume dried beans in our diet, we are powered by matter from the Sun. How amazing is intelligent splendor. The journey of a ray of Sun impacts every atom along the vastness, and travels further to Eternity. We possess the identical capacity through our culture. Our culture is a vibrant entity to extend the reach of our journey to Eternity. Our capacity to fuel intelligence increases as we extend our orbital sphere of influence to outer and outer layers of our existence. Variances in culture, thus, allow humanity to ascend higher and higher as we discover the external layers of the ‘I.’
‘I’ suffers in a cultureless existence of modernity. We are witnessing the impact on the individual, society, and environment when our life is enervated by effulgence. Business entities, governance, education, and every modern structure enabling human existence are artificial. We are living with unknowns in life. We are trying to breathe in an artificial environment. We are inventing artificial intelligence. Why are we subjecting our condition to thrive in an artificial and unknown environment, when the journey of a ray of Sun can be derived logically. Our journey can be just as conclusive, too, when we possess life instead of living. Culture gives us that life. When we lead a cultured life, our existence transforms whether in this life, or next is guaranteed. Uncultured existence is unnatural. Unnaturalness is not part of our Universe. Like a ray of Sun displacing water content in a legume, nature will enervate modernity to forcefully introduce the Post-Modern era.
