A shoreline exists for every object in this Universe. External to the shoreline, any object will encroach upon the domain of some other object. Jungle, a shoreline for wild animals. Banks, shorelines for a river. Life triumphs within the confines of shorelines. When shorelines are breached, harmless becomes harmful, and survival becomes doubtful. Nature’s balance exists on a precipice. An object’s beauty, and purpose are confined to a shoreline; beauty becomes beast, and purpose changes to target. When life is examined in the laboratory of nature, we can see how beauty, and purpose of nature transform. If our house is invaded by ants, we call an exterminator. Why do we object to coexistence with ants? Ants breached their underground domain, and were duly exterminated. From a grain of sand to the mighty elephants, every object’s domain is defined. Modernity did not define those boundaries. Nature did not seek our input, nor did we seek nature’s permission when we exterminated ants. Invasion beyond the shoreline is catastrophic to the invader, elements excluding. Does humanity have a shoreline?
Undoubtedly, humanity has a shoreline as well. Our lives are intricately tied to nature, thus, banks for human life exist too. Even the modern construct of life does not exist unbounded. Why should we have laws if we are intended to live boundlessly? As a matter of fact, modernity’s behavioral limits are severely restrictive. Every space for modern denizens is limited. One sees rules posted in every space, public and private. Why do we have these rules if our lives are meant to be lived freely? Our existence is defined on the principle of freedom, but rules exist for freedom! Does the human race need rules? Is the conduct of humanity alien to the modern human race? The rules are not the same in all places. They are different. Why should the rules vary? Moreover, every space exists with a security guard. Breach of rules invites the security guard promptly. Do not’s exceed the do’s in modern times. Organizations exist to serve humanity, but with myriad rules and conditions. Do these organizations not have trust in human behavior? We are continuously being trained in human behavior in every place. Human behavior must be a strange, alien entity, in modern times. Artificial rules for artificial spaces. Rules, a shoreline for humanity.
When rules govern human behavior in an artificial setting of a human establishment, will there not exist rules in nature for humanity? Nature being superior will it not construct a barrier for human existence? Our body is replete with rules and conditions. Every inch of our body is governed by rules. What can be seen cannot be heard; what can be heard and smelled cannot be seen; what can be reached is limited; limitations of our body are shorelines for our physical existence.
Our existence is not restricted to the physical sphere. Life journey is unattractive, unproductive, and descends our existence to Humanimal. An animal in a human body. Our intellect loses value. When intelligence loses value, instead of protecting, it will trigger abnormal and unexplainable consequences on humanity. Suicide is an example of intelligence punishing an individual to take drastic action of ending life. Mass murders, 911 incident, and every phenomenon humanity witnessed with negative consequences is the work of intelligence gone awry. Intelligence losing value is a breach of intellectual shoreline. We must understand that intelligence is a matter in nature. Matter in nature will not exist without a boundary. Does modernity understand intellectual confines?
Intelligence is immanent in every species. Humans are not an exception to this rule. We have constructed a world with a superficial comprehension of intelligence, and it is diverted to serve a narrow purpose in modern times. Intelligence that is not equal across humanity is not intelligence, but intelligence tamed like the taming of a lion. Caged lion may be unthreatening, but the lion roars to life soon after leaving the cage. However, how do we cage intelligence? Is it even caged? Intelligence, even though it is a material in nature, cannot be contained like a lion. It is not made up of the five elements in nature. It is metaphysical like life. It exists beyond sensory perception.
Human race, thus, has dual boundaries. Boundary of physical, and metaphysical worlds. Physical boundary has clear demarcations. All of us inherently understand those boundaries. Fear, physical limitations, mental disposition, feelings, and various methods of shorelines for our physical existence are understood, and adhered to without prompting. If our lives were physical, then we would not need additional barriers for our existence. Who among us does not understand these shorelines? Equitable physical shorelines for humanity. Rich, or poor obey these limitations unequivocally. We need to remind ourselves, repeatedly, that our existence reaches beyond the physical realm. Our existence is perched on intelligence, a metaphysical entity, and a metaphysical shoreline.
Metaphysical shoreline is culture. We are defined by our culture. We exist in a culture. Our life is culture. The food we consume is cultured. Our apparel is culture. Our language is culture. We take birth in a culture. Naming is culture. Our education (not modern education) is culture. Our thought is culture. How we treat each other is culture. Farming is culture. Tradition is culture. Marriage is culture. Every moment of our life is filled with culture. Cultureless moment for humanity is a pie in the sky. Human life, and culture are intricately linked. Even in modern times with cultural values diminishing, culture creeps into every aspect of life. Cultural ancestral roots are torn down to be usurped by pseudo values parading as culture in a variety of forms. Whenever we hear speakers in a public forum, values are elicited on modern philosophical thoughts such as democracy, capitalism, markets, and others are suffixed with culture. Humanity cannot survive without culture.
Culture exists in religion for humanity. Just as intelligence needs the physical body to unleash its power, culture is wrapped in religion. Religion, a body for culture. Few objects found in nature where the object, and the quality are identical. Every atom of the object is quality. Object is quality. Quality is an object. Salt and sugar are examples of quality, and objects are inseparable. Culture cannot exist without religion. Culture is the quality, and religion the body. Just as we exist long as we are in this body, culture can only exist in a religious entity. Humanity suffers dire consequences without religion. Our forward progress cannot be techno-cultured, because it does not possess ancestral roots. Nature returns, slowly, for the sake of humanity to rediscover the metaphysical shoreline of culture in Post-Modern times.
